Limited Edition Dino Charge Megazord

Something new popped up at Target yesterday. Under the radar, but something I felt like I had to have. This is the Limited Edition Dino Charge Megazord.

On the packaging, it boasts “Limited Edition Color” as well as “All New Charger.” The color combination is fantastic. You get a green T-Rex Zord, as well as black versions of the Stego Zord and Tricera Zord.

A Green Rexy alone looks great, but the addition of the two black figures gives you something extra special. Combine them with the black Rexy, and you have another Megazord that has been blacked out, similar to the MMPR version of the Megazord that is at Toys R Us. I haven’t broken my black Rexy out of the box yet, but that is going to be coming soon now.

The black versions of Stego Zord and Tricera Zord look great. A lot of gold plastic and paint added all over the place, with a touch of silver that remains. They are consistent with the use of gold and silver across all three figures, and it really works.

You still only get one charger with the set, and it would have been great to get some color variations with the different Zords, but it was not meant to be.

Rexy looks absolutely fabulous in green.  Will we ever see this in the show?  I am guessing no, we will not.  This is a toy only variant, but I am glad it exists.   If we keep going with this, we could end up with an army of main Zords.  We now have Red Rexy, Green Rexy, Black Rexy, and Spino Zord in Blue.  We need a pink version, and all of the Rangers would be able to command their own Megazord.

#1 Transparent Clear Fossil  This is a new Charger for anyone who is collecting all of the chargers.

This year we are seeing so many variants, nods to previous Power Rangers series.  This one is stand alone, but it is really nice.  You can begin to work on your rainbow of Megazords now.
