Reveal the Shield – Bumblebee and Optimus Prime

We are getting more from the Reveal the Shield line of Transformers.  I just found Bumblebee and Optimus Prime.

First Up:  Bumblebee

This Bumblebee is a repaint of the Robots in Disguise Bumblebee.  This time though the paint job is similar to the movie version.

I have always liked this style of Bumblebee.  Very close to the Animated version, it is a little hatchback with a jet ski on a trailer.   The jet ski and trailer become the jet pack.   Much like the Animated Bumblebee, this one likes to fiy too I guess.

All of my Bumbebees to date.

Up Now: Optimus Prime

This version of Optimus is similar to most of the current versions of Optimus we have seen as of late.  They are a bit on the small side.  This one has really good articulation and has some really cool transformations, like is rear wheels rolling around and folding into the legs.

This is REALLY similar to the Generation 2 version of Optimus, but has much better transformations, with many more parts folding down and away to take away from all of that extra vehicle parts sticking off look that we had back in the day.

For the fun of it, a look at the ROS Optimus with the 25th Anniversary Optimus.  Some similarities between the two, but lots of differences.  I mean, come on!   The ROS Optimus has wrist articulation.

My Optimus Collection to now.  From cartoons to movies to video games.    Optimus has been though a wide variety of iterations.

The Reveal the Shield Autobots.  I have not done a picture of the Decepticons since there are not that many yet.  I think the only letdown is how small Optimus Prime is.  The figures really have the G1 look when in robot mode.

As usual the hunt continues.
